Anvitha Babu finds joy in programming EV3 Mindstorms using both block-based programming and Python. Her journey began when she joined the Junior FIRST LEGO League (Jr FLL) team, where she not only programmed but also built robots. Anvitha remained an integral part of the FLL team from 3rd grade to 5th grade.
Transitioning to the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team in 6th grade, Anvitha discovered her passion for constructing FTC robots and programming them using the Java language. Beyond her technical pursuits, she also shares her knowledge with other students, teaching LEGO Robotics and leading art classes.
Anvitha’s interests extend beyond technology. She loves playing musical instruments, particularly the flute and piano. Additionally, she indulges in the intricate art form of Madhubani, and her enthusiasm for cultural events in the Seattle area leads her to actively participate in Kuchipudi dance performances.
Amogh has been immersed in the world of robotics since 2nd grade, diligently building and programming LEGO EV3 Mindstorms. His journey continued as he became an integral part of the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) team, contributing from 3rd grade to 7th grade. With a thirst for more challenges, he transitioned to the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team in 8th grade.
Amogh’s passion lies in constructing intricate robots and mechanisms. Beyond his technical prowess, he generously shares his knowledge by mentoring FIRST LEGO League teams over the past four years. As an educator, he guides students in preparing for the FIRST Tech Challenge, leveraging the Rev Robotics kit and programming in Java. When he’s not immersed in robotics, you’ll find him playing the piano, hiking, and biking during his free time.
