Srujana Karlaplem has dedicated eight years to coaching and mentoring FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams. Her passion lies in working with exceptionally talented students within the FIRST community. Srujana actively imparts valuable business skills to these young minds and facilitates connections with professionals in the tech industry.
In her role, she collaborates closely with our robotics team, overseeing competition management and assisting with logistical and administrative tasks. Beyond her involvement in robotics, Srujana serves as a primary healthcare provider at Providence Clinic.
Her educational background includes an MBBS degree from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, India, and she furthered her studies with a Master’s degree from the University of Washington.

Java Programming: Babu teaches students the fundamentals of Java, a versatile language widely used in software development.
CAD using OnShape: He introduces students to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) techniques using the powerful OnShape platform.
3D Printing: Babu demystifies the art of 3D printing, allowing students to create tangible objects from digital designs.
Machine Learning: He explores the fascinating field of machine learning, empowering students to understand and apply this cutting-edge technology.
Babu holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Guindy College of Engineering, India. In addition to his educational background, he contributes his expertise to AT&T, where he serves as a Principal in Enterprise Architecture.
